Twitterpate

Twitterpate is a web based twitter client which focuses on the conversation, threading tweets together with their replies so that you can follow the flow of a conversation.

Twitterpate uses OAuth for authentication, so feel free to logon and check out the project without the risk of your username and password being shared with anyone.

Twitterpate's primary goal is to introduce threading to Twitter. Whether or not you agree with the concept, Twitter has conversations and sometimes these conversations span a great deal of time and become multi-layered. In the normal venue of Twitter clients these conversations can get lost in an ever growing timeline, especially when you follow more than a handful of people.

Twitterpate focuses on combining tweets into conversations, and then dealing with those conversations as a whole. Subsequently, there is multi-layered threading and when a "master" tweet receives a new reply in a conversation, you'll find that entire conversation moved to the top of your timeline.

Twitterpate was never intended to be a full-featured twitter client. Instead Twitterpate's intention is to show the twitter community and developers that threading can be done, and that it can be done in a way that does not grossly effect performance for the end-user.
